Clarification of Regulatory Status of Kalasantro

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) alerts the financial services community and the public to a scam in which a firm falsely claims to be regulated by the DFSA.

The scammers, through their website ”kalasantro.com” claim to be authorised by the DFSA by:

  •   Stating that “The company operates under regulation and supervision by two reputable authorities: the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) with investment dealer license number A504055”;
  •  Cloning the DFSA’s Public Register on a fake website (”dubai-certifications-finance.net/firm-426966.html”;
  •  Using a fake DFSA licence number; and
  •   Using the DFSA’s name, logo and website without authority.

The DFSA informs you that:

  • Kalasantro Ltd is not, nor has it ever been authorised by the DFSA; and
  •  The legitimate website for the DFSA’s Public Register is www.dfsa.ae/public-register/firms

The DFSA strongly advises you not to respond to any communications regarding this scam, and under no circumstances should you send or give any money to any party connected to the scam.

The DFSA has a page on its website dedicated to alerts which is has issued about scams. All alerts issued by the DFSA may be accessed by going to: ALERTS
