The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) alerts the financial services community and the public to a scam involving the impersonation of a DFSA Authorised Firm, GWP Management Limited (trading as Gateway Partners).

The scammers have:

• created a fake firm named Gateway Capitals LLC; and
•  created a fraudulent website (“gateway-capitals.com”) that falsely claims to be a member of Gateway Partners Group.

The fraudulent website also impersonates a Licensed Director of GWP Management Limited, Mr Viswanathan Shankar, portraying him to be the Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Capitals LLC, which he is not.

The DFSA strongly advises you not to respond to any communications regarding this scam, and under no circumstances should you send or give any money to any party connected to the scam.
