The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) alerts the financial services community and members of the public to a company misusing the DFSA's name. It has come to the DFSA's attention that a company called Value International Trading Limited has issued a document in which it claims that its regulator is the "Autoridad de Servicios Financieros de Dubai (DFSA)".  The document is in Spanish.  A copy of the document can be viewed here  The DFSA informs you that: The DFSA is the independent regulator of financial services for the DIFC.  The list of licensed firms is available on DFSA's public register which can be accessed at: Public-Register/FirmThe DFSA has issued warnings and guidance about the common types of scams perpetrated on consumers.
