Following the ending of the consultation period on a number of proposed legislative changes, set out in Consultation Papers 57 and 59, the Board, after due consideration of consultees comments, approved the final version of amendments to the Rulebook as described below.

TAKE NOTICE THAT:

The Board made the following rule-making instruments on 27th October 2008:

• MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS TO THE DFSA RULEBOOK RULES INSTRUMENT (No. 61) 2008, to come into effect on 5 November 2008 except the amendments in respect of the Conduct of Business Module (COB) which come into effect on, 4th January 2009. (See CP No. 57)

• DEFINITIONS OF INVESTMENTS RULES INSTRUMENT (No. 62) 2008, to come into effect on 4TH January 2009 (See CP No. 59)

The relevant Rulebook modules will be updated on the DFSA Website on the date of the coming into force of the legislation and until such time all the amendments can be viewed under the Legal Framework > Rulemaking Instruments section of the DFSA Website.

FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT:

The REC1 form of the Application Forms and Notices (AFN) Module of the DFSA Sourcebook has been updated and can be accessed under the Legal Framework > DFSA Forms section of the DFSA website.
